Keith has been on an amazing journey from winning a karaoke competition in a local social club to playing in front of millions on Saturday night television.

As a member of Stagequest talent school in Edinburgh, Keith had been singing – and winning – various local and national singing competitions, including Rock Idol which was a national event organized by The Chicago Rock Cafe chain. When he wasn’t singing, Keith was studying for an HNC in Musical Theatre as well as working as a customer service assistant in Tesco.

It was while he was working in Tesco that Keith decided to enter BBC television's search for Joseph in “Any Dream Will Do”.  From more than 10,000 of hopefuls that applied, Keith made the final 12 and impressed the line up of judges including John Barrowman, Bill Kenwright, Lord Lloyd Webber, Denise Van Outen and Zoe Tyler with his live performances in front of millions of tv viewers each week. Watched by almost 10 million people in the final show, Keith came runner up.

Adam Quest, (Stagequest) said at the time: "Keith is a huge talent with an incredibly powerful voice and I firmly believed that he could win Joseph."

Any disappointment that Keith had for not landing the lead role in the West End were quickly forgotten when he was asked to perform in front of Her Majesty The Queen and also the Spanish Royal family. More good news followed when he was invited by Bill Kenwright to take the role of narrator in the touring version of the show and he has been playing to sell out audiences in theatres across The United Kingdom since August 2006.

His next big step is the release of his debut album which he has recorded with John McLaughlin – one of the country’s best known producers and songwriters with many number ones under his belt. The album will showcase Keith’s great vocal talent and also feature some of his own songs. “I’m really excited about it. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I just can’t wait to get it finished. It’ll be a funny feeling seeing my CD on the shelves of the store I used to work in”

Keith Jack’s album will be released Summer 2008
